A calm place to choose serious stone.
Zen Den Marble exists for a simple reason: stone this important shouldn’t be chosen from a postage-stamp sample under fluorescent light.
Built around the slab.
Zen Den Marble was founded by LaiHeng Tan on a straightforward belief — that the best way to buy stone is to import it directly, hold it locally, and let people see the full slab before they decide. No layers of resale, no guessing how a 100×100mm sample will read across a three-metre island.
Trading as Zen Den Marble, the business operates from a warehouse and slab yard in Yennora, in Sydney’s west, supplying both the trade and the public.
The name says what we’re after: a den of calm in a category that’s usually all dust and pressure — somewhere you can take your time, run your hand across the surface, and choose well.
Stone is patient. We try to match it.
Stone formed over a very long time, and it’ll outlast the kitchen it goes into. We try to honour that — unhurried advice, honest pricing, and respect for the material. You’re not being sold to; you’re being shown stone.
Three things we won’t compromise.
See it first
Every slab is unique. We’d rather you choose the actual piece than be surprised at install — the yard is open for exactly that.
Buy direct
We import ourselves, so there’s one less margin and one more person who can tell you where the stone came from.
Respect the material
Honest pricing, careful handling, and advice that suits your project — not whatever we’re trying to move.
Come and meet the stone.
Visit the Yennora yard, or send your project and we’ll point you to the pieces worth seeing.
